A St. Joseph police officer suffered minor injuries when a man
fled the scene of a fight, hit two patrol cars, and crashed at 9th
and Church in St. Joseph very early this morning.
Police say officers responded to a call about two men fighting in the one thousand block of Corby around 1:30 Tuesday morning. One of the men, said to be in his late 20s, climbed in a car and
fled the scene, hitting two St. Joseph police cars, injuring an officer in one
of them. The driver hit a parked car at 9th and Church where he was
arrested after the wreck.
The investigation continues.
