(Radio Iowa) – Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley sent an 11-page letter to F-B-I Director Christopher Wray on Monday, expressing a vote of “no confidence” in Wray’s ability to continue leading the bureau.
While he didn’t use the word “resign” in the letter, Grassley says the writing’s on the wall as to what Wray should do. If Wray doesn’t walk, Grassley says he’ll be fired when President Trump returns to office.
Grassley says Wray has failed in the fundamental duties as director, singling out what Grassley calls “an invasive and unwarranted FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.”
