Maryville voters overwhelmingly approved a $50 million bond issue to finance building a new water plant.
The Nodaway County Clerk’s office reports slightly more than 80% of voters during the special election approved of the bond issue. The vote allows Maryville to move forward with an application for a low-interest loan through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
