Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel will leave the city to become a city manager in California.
McDanel, who became Maryville City Manager in 2012, will become the new city manager of Seaside, California. McDanel served the longest tenure of any city manager of Maryville.
McDanel will leave the city March 7th. Assistant City Manager, Ryan Heiland, will serve as interim city manager while the city searches for McDanel’s replacement.
