Law enforcement is investigating an incident after a swatting call was reported at Northwest Missouri State University on Wednesday.
According to the University, Northwest received a swatting call around 11:30 a.m. to its main phone line that threatened gun violence on the main campus. University Police Department officers searched and cleared facilities on campus. The University says no threat was found.
University Police, Maryville Police Department, and the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the incident.
