Missouri man dies after 3-vehicle Nodaway Co. crash

NODAWAY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 4p.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Acura RDX driven by an 85-year-old Maryville man was southbound on Route E three miles west of Ravenwood.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign for U.S. 136. The Acura struck an eastbound 2009 Cadillac DTS driven by a 58-year-old Parnell man. The impact pushed the Cadillac into a 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by a 30-year-old Ravenwood man.

The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Brahms Funeral Home. A private vehicle transported the driver of the Silverado to Mosaic in Maryville. Nodaway County EMS transported the driver of the Acura to Mosaic in St. Joseph. The drivers of the Acura and the Cadillac were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
